In late 2015, Reagan Jackson, a Seattle writer and journalist, joined the Academy of Burlesque for its Fall session of Burlesque 101. She chronicled her experience, and published this article about the making of a burlesque dancer. Having gone through this transformational experience with Reagan (aka Cocoa LaSwish), this piece is very near and dear to my heart.
